Bonding

Dental Implants

Cleanings & Check-Ups
Dr. JJ will clean and polish your teeth to their healthiest possible state. Not only does removing plaque prevent cavities, but he will also assess the health of your gums, and your bite. If a patient has recurring cavities, he may suggest a sealants treatment, which is a thin, protective coating he applies to the chewing surfaces to shield the teeth from cavity-causing bacteria.
Oral Cancer Screenings
Dr. JJ will thoroughly inspect your head and mouth to detect signs of cancer or pre-cancerous conditions. The earlier the cancer is addressed, the better the outcome. If he finds anything suspicious, he will send you to a specialist to check it out.
Digital X-Rays
Investing in the growing field of high-tech diagnostics is important to Dr. JJ. The more accurate the imaging, the better the outcomes. Using a 3D Cone Beam CT helps him produce the most accurate images of your teeth, gums, and bite. Detecting conditions like infection or gum disease early helps save time, money, and discomfort.
Emergency Check-up
Call the office and Dr. JJ can usually see you immediately if an emergency arises and your tooth is damaged or infected. You shouldn’t wait to treat an emergency dental situation. Please call to schedule or just come in.
What Qualifies as an Emergency?: If your tooth is cracked, broken, or knocked out during a game or because of a fall, or if you have sudden pain, bleeding, or swelling, you should see the dentist right away.
Cavity Control & Fillings
Dr. JJ takes time to educate patients about the best brushing practices, working with both parents and children if needed. He takes special care to find out about each patient’s brushing and flossing habits, providing tips for improving them, and touching on things to avoid, like smoking, candy, and sodas. Professional fluoride treatments at each check-up protect teeth, too. If decay is detected, he will do a filling, with a tooth-colored composite, that saves the durability of the tooth. He also offers fluoride treatments.
Dental Bridge
A dental bridge consists of crowns that fit over existing teeth on either side of the missing tooth or teeth. It’s important to replace missing teeth and restore chewing function and the esthetics of a smile. Depending on your situation, Dr. JJ can perform a traditional bridge that attaches to existing teeth with metal wings or create an implant-supported bridge that’s attached through implants.
Crowns
If a tooth is cracked or decayed, following a root canal, Dr. JJ can prepare a crown to replace it and restore the mouth to its optimal function. He does this through a two-step process: During the first visit he will remove any cracked enamel or decay and get down to a healthy base. He puts a temporary crown on while the permanent one is made at the lab, thanks to the intraoral 3D imagery he takes. On the second visit, he affixes the permanent crown and shapes it as needed to match the other teeth.
